Terroir
Our vines were planted in 1986 and located in the village of Azé.
Climat & Sol : South-east facing slope on a limestony terrace. Highest vineyards of the village of Azé, they benefit from a great sunny exposure
Winemaking and aging
To preserve their integrity, grapes are carefully harvested and sorted out by hand. Full clusters. Following the pneumatic press, juices stay in a vat overnight for a cool settling down. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a low temperature Malolactic fermentation is carried out at 100%
Aging is 100% realized in stainless steel vats on fine lees during 9 months.
Tasting notes
EYE : Lovely yellow colour with green tints.
NOSE : The nose is intense with mineral and flinty notes, as well as fennel and pepper hints
PALATE : In the mouth, the wine is sharp, pure and fresh with a good tension
Service and cellaring
It can be served from now at 11-13° C or cellared for 3 to 5 years.

Our Mâcon Azé 2017 can greatly be enjoyed with a seafood platter, shellfish and some cuttlefishes.
